Kaltsounia (Lichnarakia)

Apart from xerotigana, other traditional Cretan sweets are also prepared at our workshop with love for tradition and with great enthusiasm. Kaltsounia (or Lichnarakia) are traditional Cretan sweets made from fresh ricotta, pure eggs and lemon zest. The pure ingredients we use give our lichnarakia a truly special taste and flavour. They are kept in the refrigerator and can last for up to 15 days.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, fresh milk, margarine, eggs, cinnamon, sweet mizithra (ricotta), sugar, lemon.
